The Trigger is a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) Display that monitors the room loudness based on a user settable dB level. We designed The Trigger to link with other Fitness Audio products to actively restrict the sound level. The adjustable setting ranges from 79-109 dB in 3dB steps. Green is normal operation, Yellow LED's light up 6 dB before the pre-set level. Red LED's light at the target limit volume level. Full Red is exceeding your limit. If linked to a Fitness Audio Mixer or The Gov^nor SPL Limiter, the Trigger will send back a signal to restrict the volume. It's perfect for Fitness Clubs, schools, youth clubs, pubs/clubs, music rooms and offices that need a simple loudness level indicator.
The Trigger & Mixers
Use The Trigger with the full range of Fitness Audio Aeromix Mixers. When paired with Fitness Audio Aeromix Mixers the Trigger will activate the ‘Audio Slap’ circuit in the mixer. This feature drops the music signal by 15 dB until the volume control is turned down.
The Trigger & Limiter
You can also use The Trigger with the Fitness Audio Gov^nor SPL Limiter. Connect The Trigger to The Gov^nor and set the desired volume level. When the limit is exceeded for 2+ seconds the Trigger will activate the Gov^nor's limiting circuitry to reduce the volume as defined by the Trigger. This Combo is for Sound Limiting at the User Defined Limit. In both cases instruct your users to mix to just 1 row of Red LEDs showing on the sound peaks.
